Membership in the band is open to anyone in the community interested in playing bagpipes or snare, tenor or bass drum. You do not need to be a law enforcement officer or firefighter to be a member.

People with an interest in playing with the band are encouraged to join us at a practice. We welcome all level of players, from beginners to experienced players who wish to improve on their chosen instrument.

Reach out to our Band Manager Pete Walen about checking out a practice or joining us. He can answer questions about joining the band and what the requirements are to perform with the band.

We practice during the week on Tuesday nights at The Vine Church, 3950 Leonard St NW in Grand Rapids. We also practice two Saturdays a month at Caledonia High School Media Center, 9050 Kraft Ave SE, Caledonia, Michigan.
